Presuppositions:

This is anothe Placater Attack.
The (HEDGE) is something along the lines of "You KNOW I'd never tell
you what to do..." or "I KNOW it's none of my business...", etc.
Defense:
- Ignore (X).
- "I want you to know that I appreciate the way you resist the temptation
to interfere. Not everyone has your good manners."
The attacker already admitted that it's your business and yours alone, so
the is no reason to discuss (X) with them. This response will end discussion
on the subject.
